Overview

The unit was originally established in 1985 as an Auto Components Manufacturer to supply Aluminum and Zinc Pressure Die Cast Components to M/s. Chamundi Mopeds Ltd on a 1 acre plot ( apprx.40,000 sq ft ) in Hirehally Industrial Area, Tumkur, with 2 Die castings machines.

After the premature closure of the parent company, M/s.Chamundi Mopeds Ltd., due to various reasons, the unit was put to tremendous hardships in the initial days.With the untiring efforts of the promoters, the unit was able to establish other customers from the Automotive and Non Automotive sectors, most of them, the company retains even today.

Chamundi Die Cast Pvt. Ltd. has expanded its manufacturing facilities over the years and today has 2 plants with unit 1 located in Tumkur, Karnataka and unit 2 being located in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu with a total of 16 Die Casting Machines and a total area of 5 acres.

Currently, the unit produces around 250 tons of fully finished Castings every month for a wide spectrum of consumers from industries such as Automotive Industry (Engine Mounting Brackets,Visco Clutch Castings, Vacuum Pump Parts,Fuel & Oil Filter Castings, Turbo Charger Castings, Shock Absorber Castings, Auto Electrical Castings, Engine Castings, etc.) and Non Automotive Industry ( Telecom Industry, Electrical Industry, Furniture Industry, etc. ) . It provides employment to around 450 people directly.

The Promoter is its current Chairman, Mr. Ghouse Khan, who is an Engineer by qualification and with post graduate qualifications from the United States of America. He has vast experience of over 30 years in the Manufacturing Industry, both in India as well as abroad ( Germany and the United States of America ).

The Managing Director, Mr.Yasin Khan, is a Graduate and has been involved in the management of the company since 1990. Mr. Farhan Khan, the Joint Managing Director is an Engineer associated since 1998 and is well versed with all aspects of production and quality related functions.

Apart from the above, the company has a well established organisation structure with qualified management and supervisory personnel at various levels to head the different departments of the organisation.
